Delivery Process & Timescales for Handy CPD

We’re excited to get your books to you! Here’s how our delivery works:

Shipping Destinations

Currently, we deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. We do not offer shipping to countries within the European Union (EU) or any other international destinations at this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.


1. Order Processing (Printing Time & Packaging)

All our books are individually printed with care by our specialist printing partner, Bookvault, once your order is placed. They are securely packaged to ensure they reach you in excellent condition. For all products, please allow 3 business days for your order to be printed and prepared for dispatch. This processing time is in addition to the delivery time you select at checkout.


2. Delivery Options & Times (Post-Processing)

Once your order has been printed and dispatched (after the 3-business-day processing period), the following paid delivery options are available for delivery within the UK. The cost will be calculated and confirmed at checkout.

  • Yodel – Tracked Economy: Typically 3-4 business days
  • Royal Mail 1st Class (Untracked): Estimated 1-3 business days
  • Royal Mail 2nd Class (Untracked): Estimated 2-3 business days
  • Yodel – Tracked Priority: Estimated 1-2 business days
  • DPD – Tracked (Mon–Fri Delivery): Estimated Next working day
  • DPD – Pre 12:00 Tracked (Mon–Fri Delivery): Estimated Next working day by 12:00 PM
  • DPD – Pre 10:30 Tracked (Mon–Fri Delivery): Estimated Next working day by 10:30 AM

Total Estimated Delivery:

To get an estimate for your order, simply add the 3-business-day processing time to the transit time of your chosen delivery option. For example, using Yodel Tracked Economy, the total estimated delivery time is approximately 6-7 business days (3 days processing + 3-4 days transit).


3. Changes to Delivery Address

Please double-check your delivery address carefully when placing your order. As our books are custom printed on demand, it is often not possible to change the delivery address once your order has been sent to our printing partner. If you have made an error, please contact us immediately at support@handycpd.co.uk and we will do our best to assist, but we cannot guarantee changes can be made.


4. Issues with Your Order

  • Damaged Items: We take great care in packaging your books. In the unfortunate event that your order arrives damaged, please contact us at support@handycpd.co.uk as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and clear photographs of the damage to both the packaging and the item(s). This will help us to resolve the matter for you quickly. This does not affect your statutory rights. Under UK consumer law, you have the right to a remedy if goods are received damaged or faulty.
  • Lost Items: If your order has not arrived within 7 business days after the total estimated delivery timeframe has passed, please contact us at support@handycpd.co.uk with your order number. We will investigate the matter with our printing partner and the courier.

5. Important Notes

  • “Business days” are Monday to Friday and exclude UK public holidays.
  • The delivery times stated are estimates provided by the couriers and are not guaranteed. The processing times are also estimates and can vary during peak periods.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched, which will include tracking information for tracked services.
  • During exceptionally busy periods (such as Christmas or other major holidays) or due to unforeseen courier delays, processing and delivery times may be extended. We appreciate your patience!
  • Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate to avoid delays.
